BEN GUIMOND
I was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and grew up in South St. Vital. Thanks to my French parents, I became fluent in both French and English. Helping people and sales has been in my DNA from a young age. After graduating high school, I became an Emergency Medical Responder and graduated from Fire College. This led to a five-year career in the army as a medic for the 2nd Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry. In the army, I was nicknamed “Baby Doc” and “Iceman.” The first nickname came from my youthful appearance, while the second was given to me by an infantry soldier known as “Cuddles.” He dubbed me “Iceman” after I stayed calm during one of my first high-pressure situations, which he initially mistook for an impromptu exercise but turned out to be a real scenario.
After completing my contract with the army, I initially planned to return home and become a Fire-Paramedic. However, my heart led me to pursue a long-standing interest in real estate. While studying and preparing to enter the real estate field, I spent many years working in construction, where I made numerous valuable connections. Choosing a career in real estate has been the best decision I’ve ever made!
If you’re seeking an agent with life experience, compassion, a good sense of humor, and a proven track record of performing under pressure, I’m your guy!
